Our 4th of July Tradition

This 4th of July we had so much fun at the Ward Breakfast! There were games, great food and this year we also had a Junk yard contest between 5 different teams. The Bishopric got 1st place andtheRelief society got 2nd. It was so cool. I hope this activity turns into a ward 4th of July tradition. in the evening, like every Year, We had a good time at our usual and favorite spot! It has been a family tradition for over 14 years to gather together to watch the BC firework show from the LDS Institute across BC campus. We Started this tradition with our aunt and uncle, Miriam and Guillermo. It is so much fun! We lay out blankets and chairs and share a delicious potluck. Year after year, more of our friends and family join in on the celebration. It is such a neat experience to sit there and remember past years. I remember our first of 4th of July together there when Bryan and I were dating and also our first 4th of July at the same place as a married couple. We will never forget those 4th of July's being 7 and 8 months pregnant with Asha and Bryce. It is so neat for Our children to be growing up with such wonderful tradition. What a wonderful opportunity and blessing it is. We will continue building memories there as long as we are allowed. This year our friends Stacey, Victor and their daughter Joey joined us as well. We are so grateful for a free country, for great friends and family, and for the opportunity to build memories together.
God Bless America!
